Thank you very kind, I am just pissed of with this breathlessness, hopefully it will improve, been on Apixaban, blood thinners, for a few years so hopefully no blood clots about. Nurse is supposed to be ringing tomorrow to advise on medication to stop, better be the furosemide water tablets, don't want any embarrassing side effects.

My remark about the film scene paddles was to emphsize the ridiculous drama added. I cannot comment if the hospital staff stand back as I was out at the time.

To clear up another myth of films, when you see a straight line on the EGC ie flatlining, you cannot bring the heart back to start beating again, the Defibrillator as the machine is called, will only work when the heart is Fibrillating, ie is shaking uncontrolled like a jelly, the heart needs electric stimulus from anodes within the heart muscle, if anyone of these get out of sync then you could get Fibrillation, or worse, you only have four minutes to re-start the heart, unless CPR is being performed, correctly.
