When you apply for your CV you have to fill in a form designating your MT. If you change doctors subsequently then a new form has to be submitted (or nowadays the MTs can do the 'paperwork' online for you). It's only visits to the designated MT that are reimbursed.

I am pretty sure that your MT is your MT and a visit anywhere* else without a referral letter/ordinance will incur charges.

* even in the same building.

I rang up for a RDV and was given a time that same day as OH was in pain, when we arrived the receptionist said whatever time with DR whoever, not our normal bloke as he was not in on that day so surely I don't need a referral letter from my doctor whose door is smack bang next to this doctor who saw us as a matter of urgency. What happens when you get a locum, no letters of referral involved there??

My wife has often had to see one of the other doctors in the cabinet and there was no charge.

I suggest you discuss with CPAM. They carry out the rules.

Having been prompted to troll through the Ameli account, I can see that the 25€ was in fact refunded in full but the actual refund was 6.53€ after they had taken of the deductions on the medicines etc.

Again I know it's drifting a bit, but both of us are 100% ALD, which means that our mutuelle insurance rarely pays out for anything, yet they say that they are unable to offer a plan which takes that in to account. Has anyone come across, or is using a company that does offer premiums based on individual circumstances.

I, and my late husband, both had/ have ALD. But what you have to remember is that it is only medical issues associated with the ALD which are covered 100% and it is common to be charged in full for other issues.

I have several appointments at hospitals and am getting transport from a local "taxi / ambulance", company free of charge as the doctors concerned have given me Bon de Transports, I hope I am nnot in for an expensive surprise at the end of it all. I think that my ALD is for diabetes ad heart so my eye appointments possibly come under the diabetic part.
