After 4 months - what happens?

@Blaze thanks for the info. As I have my printed copies given to me on leaving I guess I just have to wait - not known for my patience  :D

I don't know whether this will explain the delay some people are having to get appointments for booster shots. I went to book ours last week because we received a notification and I couldn't book one on DrLib until the beginning of March and the Jab was moderna.
I then discovered that the 'pop up' vaccination centre we used for the previous jabs was no longer in operation, so that perhaps explains the length of time.

We had a chat with our pharmacist and they said they could do our booster the following day - so we went back the next day and got jabbed.
I'm confused though, because I thought when this all started that the Pfizer vacc could only be done at the centres and not the pharmacies, but our booster from the pharmacy was Pfizer.

I believe the Pfizer jab was modified so that it didn't have to be kept at -18000°

@Char In the beginning (heck that sounds biblical!) there are two pharmacies in Lassay one offered Pfizer and the one we went to offered Moderna - we choose the Pharmacy that gave Moderna cos the ladies in that pharmacy are more human! OH got his Moderna booster at the pharmacy but I couldn't cos her waiting list was so long that I would have run out of time so I got my booster booked thro. Doctorlib at the Mayenne centre 25 Jan. I'm still waiting for my EU Digital Cert to come up on Ameli.

Correct Mad. Before being made up (mixed) for the syringes, the vaccine can be kept in an ordinary fridge so it's a lot simpler than when the vaccine first came out.

Ah well that explains that then - thanks.

I also have a doubled barrelled surname now - they've put both my maiden name and married name on the forum. 8-) So that should make life easier. :P

The name thing even confuses the French. When people come in for their jab, our lists are done by time, so you may have 10 people at 14h30, 10 people at 15h15 etc. Normally, the surname comes first followed by first name BUT if the person has put their name in the wrong way round, it's harder to spot straight away. THEN you find that the RDV is in the person's maiden name, not the name they give you

My second vax was in my maiden name but the 3rd has maiden and married name, phew. I didn't have to book a RDV as it was done on the spot one day when I was working there, but obviously the "system" has sorted things out.
