@Pathca Thanks Pathca - I will remind her re the tests. Last time she brought several boxes over with her for herself and the family and gave us a couple. She works in admin so not actually front line but does manage a team.

My daughter has just rung me to tell me that she has tested positive for covid. She works as a manager in an NHS hospital and last Wednesday the CEO called a meeting which was attended by about 50 people - she was one of them - and apparently quite a few have now tested positive.

Just had my 4th Pfizer jab after several cancellations due to family members being positive. It was in a local pharmacy I haven’t been to before. I arrived 10 minutes early was registered immediately and only showed my carte vitale no form filling. Vacciné given and that was it, no sitting around as was the case before, done and dusted in 5 minutes. Pretty efficient.

@DaveW Seems like the pharmacies are now on top of their game as OHs was quick and no hanging about afterwards and just a couple of folk in front of him waiting for the jab.

Spoke to a couple of friends here (Lot/Lot et Garonne boundary area) and found that the best place is a pharmacy.
Popped into the one nearest to home this afternoon and got appts for 12th August for Fixit and me - could have gone earlier but the das didn't suit.
Was told all we need to take is our carte vitales - but will have the last Covid cert and id with us to be sure!

Pharmacies here are not doing any jabs - and have not up til now - so I think the advice would be ask at the pharmacy. If they can do it, fine. If not, they will tell you who can - in our case they said discuss with the MT and we are now on her list.

Same by me. Our town pharmacie never offered the vaccines, however some of the surrounding pharmacies (in other towns) did/do. I found that the online site listing most of the places in each department where you can get the vaccine/booster was accurate and helpful.

This morning OH made rdvs for us at the local pharmacy (75m away) for 28/07.

This map https://vitemadose.covidtracker.fr/centres can be useful to find nearby places where you can get a jab but I'm not sure is comprehensive. You need to click on the marker to obtain contact information.
This page https://vitemadose.covidtracker.fr offers places where you can get a jab on a particular date but it does not seem to include a lot of pharmacies who do not subscribe to Doctolib, etc.
