As if having injections in the eye wasn't enough, yesterdays trip to the cardiologist after the electric shock heart treatment spelt more bad news. The shock treatment did not work so now they want to stick a catheter in my groin and slip a couple of tubes up that to burn something in my heart away. Anyone had this procedure?

A neighbour had cardiac ablation for atrial fibrillation some time ago. He was in hospital overnight and it seemed to sort it out. I seem to remember that he was off work for a few days.
