I received an email this morning from Ameli, appearing to be something about my CV. Because of the format I cannot copy it to paste it into a translater to decipher it. It says something about having one week to do something, etc. etc. I notice that the address header and subject line does not spell Ameli correctly. I think this must be a scam. Luckily I spotted it before clicking on anything.
Any comments?

I had the same emai and deleted it. I get so many from the "administration" that I delete 99% given the r'ate of hacking they have. If they want to penalise me, I'll tell them why there's silence from Mad. I'd go to the pharmacy and update the CV there first.

Carpenters: measure twice, cut once.
Internet today: think twice, delete asap.
Within 2 seconds an AI search on the French side of the internet came back with this, translation:
Emails pretending to be from Ameli are phishing attempts designed to steal your bank details or personal information. The French health insurance scheme never asks for bank details or payment updates via email, text message or direct link.
Common scams: a purported pending refund (e.g. an amount of a few tens of euros). An update to your Vitale card or its renewal, for which a fee is charged.
An alarming message asking you to update your personal details.
How to spot them:The sender’s address: It never uses official domains ending in @ameli.fr or @assurance-maladie.fr (be wary of fake display names). Hyperlinks: These lead to fraudulent websites imitating Ameli but with an unusual address (URL) (e.g. .com, or variants containing ‘ameli’). The organisation only communicates via your secure Ameli account.
What to do if you receive such an email: do not click on any links or open any attachments. Do not provide any bank details or passwords. Report the message via the Signal Spam platform or the Cybermalveillance.gouv.fr website. If you have already provided your bank details: contact your bank immediately to block your account and file a report.

Thankyou for the responses. My instinct must be right. I have a habit of checking the spelling of address headers and all hidden link addresses. I must never forget to do it.
