Bigos is one of my favourite dishes and each time you reheat it, it gets better!
Do you have a Polish connection?

Take away 'sauté des sanglier sauce veneur' from the local café tonight. They are serving it with tagliatelle at lunchtime, so no point in me going there. Since lockdowns they are offering many things as takeaway so we'll have two portions of the sanglier and have it with spuds and probably brussels sprouts & carrots.
How do people live without at least one dog in the house?

No but I do remember the small pickled cucumbers.
After two hours from ingestion like time bombs.

I'm not a meat eater but I loved the Polish food when I spent some time there a few years ago. Surprisingly cheap but delicious and varied - loads of veg .... and I adore gherkins !!

Tonight I'm doing a steamed dish with veggies, chicken & white fish in a white pepper marinade served in a chicken stock sauce.

What's for Dinner?
After today's ministrations at our friend's farm, just knackered.
Chased by hungry horses and homicidally inclined chickens.
So beans on toast with a side order of Mme Merlot in front of the fire.
Upside is, I baked the bread.
Downside, I now have to bake more.
Night all.
