With St. Patrick's Day on Thursday Auchan have pushed the boat out with 173 products to celebrate. The first 87 items are alcohol with a few 0% items included. Of these 5 (five) are identifiably Irish - although just how Irish Guinness West Indian Porter is can be a cause for debate.

Even the recipe for Irish Coffee uses Whisky and not Whiskey.

The remainder of the items look to be standard French appero fare - sauscisson, cheese cubes and the like.

Trying to cash in on an excuse for a 'party' I expect - show initiative I suppose which is unusual for a French supermarket.
