What about the carte de sejour, is it really necessary to change that? It is on the list from the Maire
Is there a template online that can be printed to all those that need to know?
I prefer to keep mine as long as i can, just in case it goes awry!

It rather depends on how seriously you take it. We did not go into overdrive letting the world and his wife know our 'new' address because not even the mairie could decide exactly what that is!
Our biggest problems occur when we've ordered something online for delivery. Some internet sites recognise our previous address and some only the more recent. If in doubt we give a combination of the two. Much of our problem was caused by the renumerotation but the fact that our commune name changed around the same time certainly added to the utter confusion. So far we have left all utilities with the address they had before. For deliveries, we rely on the address their www site has for us or on the delivery driver to ring and ask for directions.
