Toulouse emulating US cities?

#2 Post by Bayleaf »

It's already been happening in Paris. It's a shame that just because people want to show their support for the plight of the Gazans, while the powerheads of the world allow the bloodbath to continue, they're immediately labelled as anti-semitic. You can like or dislike marmite, it doesn't make you anti-marmite?

When semitic means this:
" 1.
relating to or denoting a family of languages that includes Hebrew, Arabic, and Aramaic and certain ancient languages such as Phoenician and Akkadian, constituting the main subgroup of the Afro-Asiatic family.
2.
relating to the peoples who speak Semitic languages, especially Hebrew and Arabic.

Why does anti-semitic just apply to Jews? It doesn't actually make sense (to me anyway!)

On the subject of the students protesting - if rent-a-mob didn't pile in as usual, these would be peaceful protests. Also, someone told me that it's written in the constitution of American Unis, that students are allowed to protest without fear of arrest.....
