It's a bit of a so-and-so trying to pin down info and assistance through the DGFP. It's quite a few years since I had a tussle with the foncs. Better get into training
Quiksilver, we're not yet retired - OH is classed as "Cotisant Solidaire" - and it seems although we qualify twice over for this help (and we use fuel for our work machines), the heels are being well and truly dragged for the likes of us. I don't qualify because my tax number is included on OH's tax return, and are "as one" so to speak. Trouble with MSA (and all other Caisses I expect), you rarely get to deal with the same person, and it's communication by secure message - so someone else picks up half way through, and they totally misinterprete what's going on, and you're back to square one.

I started a thread about this a while ago, but my wording got hi-jacked and turned into some sort of joke thread, so I asked for it to be deleted. Let's hope this one stays serious!!

Trust me, I'm taking it seriously, Bayleaf :) After asking around, even within 47 some pensioners have received it and others haven't, despite being well within the income parameters. It's interesting that you mention 'piggy-backing' though. I would have been quite happy to accept that only one of us (the one with the revenu) is eligible, although that's not what the gouvernement site states. Knowing how foncs work, though, it's understandable that 1 reference number = 1 prime. Macron has managed quite a few reforms during his mandat but I doubt that he'll change the average fonc's bloody-mindedness if he's re-elected for the next 50 years

That was a misunderstanding Doug - the new variant of covid was being referred to as Nu eg. the Nu variant, they subsequently changed the name to omicron or something.

Any how, back on topic - we received one payment of €100.00 into the bank, dunno whether it was for me or OH though - I'll have a look and see if we've received another payment once I've got mobile signal, cos the bank insists on sending a code before I can even check my account now a days.

Well, a bit of progress today. After categorically denying that it's anything to do with them, les impots sent a message telling us to ignore their previous messages  They claim that OH filled in the declaration incorrectly, so they need minute details of pensions, organisms and amounts. Luckily, we've still got the officially translated copies of everything from our nationality application, so they're going to be disappointed if they pull that one! :D
