If MLP did get in, it's doubtful that Brit expats would be in her line of fire. They tend to bring money into France and spend it there and aren't a drain on the state. We had to provide proof of this to get a CdS.
THE WARP card cannot be removed by a future President. As you say we are not the sort of foreigners that MLP dislikes.

Yes, I agree, and that is what every French person I have had the conversation with believes (possibly in some cases apologetically to excuse their vote for her for entirely other reasons), but due to the, to me, unimaginable
break up of Brexit, I have this nagging thought now that anything is possible. I always thought before that catastrophe that the EU would only get stronger and closer. :(

When the original American colonies first coalesced would any of them have thought that one day not only would they expand and prosper but also splinter and divide to the extent that it would cause the biggest loss of American lives in a future of disastrous wars?

After we both got our French citizenship we quickly got our French identity cards, no probs.
Now almost there with our French passports.
Did most of the work online including the payement.
Just had our rendez vous at Bergerac will get the passports in a month, no need for a rendez view just go in and pick them up when informed they are there.
With all of the tv stories of very long waits we got our interview in three weeks.

Neither I nor OH have bought French passports as we do not need them
Should we wish to travel it will be within Schengen with our ID cards, or to the UK on our British passports.
How do people live without at least one dog in the house?

We haven't bothered with FR passports either. I'll think about it when my Irish one nears expiry (2027) as the Oul Sod isn't in Schengen. By that time, who knows what (further) mess the stupid English government will have created vis-à-vis Ireland and the EU.

We got ours because Mami's uk one is about to expire, mine in a few months, so thought it better for both at same time. The only reason for either of us to visit the uk is if anyone of our familly gets ill or has huge probs.
As for the emerald isle Mad just expect bojo to make as much mess as everything else.

True, but I also don't know how much longer I can drag myself from Limoges to Somewhere to get a flight to Dublin! I've been looking into ferries but there's a conspicuous lack of them in Limoges.

I heard this morning that Boris the Incompetent's father has just got his French citizenship.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.
