€100 Indemnité Inflation
I couldn't find a specific former thread on this subject, so hope it's OK to start a new one!
We were eligible for the €100 energy prime promised by Macron last year (not to be confused with the chèque énergie used to reduce energy suppliers' bills). BUT, we've not received it. As I understood things, it was to be distributed to 'foreign' pensioners by local Tax offices. I know some of you lucky folks did receive it, so could someone please confirm whether it was paid via your local Hôtel d'impots, or a different organism. Our Tax office is denying all knowledge of it.
On a brighter note, there's talk in the Press of another one soon.

OH received €100 paid directly into our joint account, which the tax office will have known since we pay tax by direct debit. I assume this is the same as you are referring to. Payment was made by Dgfp Finances Publiques - the same body that takes tax each month.
While no one should look a gift horse in the mouth, we are not the most deserving family in France but because OH's income is basically just her UK state pension she qualifies.

It just appeared in my bank on 4 February labelled VIR SEPA DGFIP FINANCES PUBLIQUE.
For foreign pensioners, it was based on the tax declaration for 2020 and for those was only paid to those who had an individual annual income of less than 24,000€ https://www.service-public.fr/particuli ... tes/A15307

Thanks, exile
As I read the gouvernement.fr site, it is indeed DGFP that administers the prime to us furriners, as we haven't got a caisse de retraite here. I wonder if the problem has arisen because we don't have an income tax liability? The DGFP certainly knows who and where we are when it comes to demanding Taxe Foncière, though! It would be interesting to establish whether any other pensioners in 47 have received the prime
ETA Thanks also, elsie! There's no doubt that we're eligible, but the administration in this département (47) is notoriously unhelpful.

Also still waiting after a right head against brick wall session with MSA. Apparently Mr B qualifies for one, so hopefully it'll arrive soon. Just keeping driving to the minimum now, and driving more economically whenever possible!

It seems to ba a bit random. OH received a payment weeks ago (to my surprise), via CIPAV, a caisse de retraite. I received same payment last week via Carsat. I hadn't realised we were eligible, but it's -€2k per person.

The main regulation was for an individual income of less than 2000€ (during Oct 2021?) For foreign pensioners the tax office don't have a monthly income figure so used 24,000€ for 2020.

You are joking elsie?? We've been doing tax returns here for 14 years, the last 7 of which show OH's UK pension income. I've yet to receive that honour, so don't have any income! It smacks of deceit and sharp practice to allocate some fictitious figure which conveniently (and wrongly) excludes UK pensioners.

@MAD87 and Bayleaf, at least when you're in the system with regards to a pension caisse, you've got someone to chase, although a French friend also had trouble getting his prime through MSA. It's a bit of a so-and-so trying to pin down info and assistance through the DGFP. It's quite a few years since I had a tussle with the foncs. Better get into training

I'm sorry, I'm just providing the information. That 24,000€ was the maximum limit of individual income figure as it is 2000€ x 12 so the equivalent for those with regular salaried income. There are a lot of other classes of employment and the payments were made at different times depending on the regime.Quiksilver wrote: ↑Mon Mar 07, 2022 7:08 pm You are joking elsie?? I don't know how you completed your tax return and whether it was online or paper? The online version requires you give bank account details for direct debits/refunds. But I doubt that won't be compulsory for a paper submission so, if you did it that way, perhaps they haven't got the necessary details to make a payment? Whether or not you have any income, you should be submitting or be included on a tax return otherwise they won't know about you!
Looking back, I now see you received a chèque energie? How was that paid?
There are ways of making a claim online or you could visit your tax office. I don't see how your tax office can deny all knowledge of it? Sorry I can't suggest anything more.
