A useful reminder for those approaching their dotage to get your power of attorney, wills and care/treatment plans all done whilst you have the mental capacity - plus write down where the money is and how to find it when you're gone.

AND - if you're having more than one POA, think carefully about how you distribute their powers. I've just learned that our step-dad's wife insisted on having it "Jointly and Severally" with his two sons.
