Having seen & rectified the crap jobs done by 'qualified sweeps' on a couple of neighbours chimneys there's no way I'm letting one near our couple of flues.
I'm quite confident my efforts with my super duper whizzy sweeping set will equal if not better anything a 'proper' sweep will manage & the few hours a day, burning decent wood they are subject to hardly warrants the annual sweep I give 'em.
I await the sweep certificate police's visit with interest.
