Morning all,
Not sure if anyone will know but, our adult daughter and our granddaughter are living with us now, she has no income, is she classed as our dependant as far as the impots and cpam are concerned?

Thanks
Char

I would have thought so Char, unless there is an age restriction?

Char, not being an expert, the only thing I have to offer are several links. It's all about "d'ayant droit" in the case of cpam: Rattachement d'un enfant. There are age limits as you will notice: younger than 16, 16 - 18 and 18 - 21. More in this information about un enfant majeur.

Mr. Taxman: Puis je déduire l'aide que j'apporte à mes enfants majeurs?

Not unimportant: nationality, carte de séjour, is there still NHS coverage?

Thank you, no problem with carte de séjour, she has one of those and our grand daughter is French.
I'll have a read through those links - once our daughter's a bit more compus mentus she'll be able to take over from me, I'm just trying to be organised.

Thanks again, muchly appreciated. :D

I hope things improve for your daughter soon. Big changes in life can be very unsettling.

Thanks Mangetout, everything will come out all right in the wash I expect, things usually do.
