Any signs of spring?
I heard my first cuckoo on St Patrick’s Day and now most mornings since then.
My peaches and nectarines have finished flowering, the pears are in full bloom and the apples are showing leaves and buds. My glycine has masses of flower buds and the grass full of daisies.
The grassed area is sodden, I had to have some items delivered onto it yesterday and I’ve been left with a quite a deep channel.

For several days the lilacs have been in flower. Overnight the leaf buds have burst open on the oak trees so for the first morning the trees look green.

The first of the asphodels are in flower already - a good 3-4 weeks earlier than usual.

Hoping the flowering cherry doesn't lose its blooms in the gales
