Autumn Colours
What a great forum this is ... and so helpful.
A million years ago Ilford, I think, brought out Cibachrome to print from slides . It was a breakthough in colour printing and brought it into the realms of the above kitchen amateur. Only 3 chemicals as opposed to 7 if memory serves and you could have a red light on but the "paper" was actually plastic. The colours were really good and the vibrancy astonishing. Anyone else remember it? It was discontinued in 2011.

This was taken with my first digital camera, which was a Fujifilm FinePix, the lens was fixed to the camera and had zoom etc.

@ Blaze, there is a tunnel almost below that road, it takes you from the Etang de Baye (in the Nièvre)

to the village of la Collancelle. Not a railway tunnel, this is where the Canal du Nivernais goes underground.

Thanks for that, RA. It looks very peaceful and obviously not used commercially - if it ever was. The steps in your link loo a bit precarious - I bet it has an interesting history. I wonder if they have organisations/associations who look after canals like many waterways in the UK.
