I grow lots of things in pots, including olive trees, camelia, rhododendrons, roses and other shrubs. The secret it to give them the right soil, feed regularly and make sure they have enough water but never too much. Some of my plants have been in pots for 25 years and came with me from the UK 20 years ago. But it takes time and when you're busy you have to prioritise. My french friends find it odd!

@Mangetout ah that's my problem I don't have to do much with geraniums or agapanthas which means they do die if I forget about them for a few days - which I frequently do :oops: :roll:
