I wonder how this ship has navigated its way to Rotterdam? Where did it come from? I certainly would not have been on it in any rough weather. I think they travelled there going astern all the way as there is no way the bridge can see what’s in front.

We were in Bordeaux a few years ago and saw the bridge over the Garonne raised so that a cruise ship could reverse into it's mooring upstream.

Yesterday, in a museum, I suddenly found myself face to face with what looked like a cradle. Of the typewriter and the keyboard.
