We have had a Celestron scope since 2009. Never used it until now.
Are there any other sky watchers here?

Not much point in owning one here in 22. Clouds, light pollution, etc.
Humanity landed on the moon over fifty years ago but it seems too much to ask for a reliable telephone/internet service in rural France.

No telescope but Mrs LAF spent ages looking at the moon last night though our super dooper binoculars.
I once borrowed a celestial telescope but as it was a manual one I couldn't keep track of moving stars & gave it up for a bad job.
If I was going to acquire one it would have to be an all singing & dancing automatically locked on type.

Yes I watch it, you cant really miss it. Use my binoculars a fair bit, always had an interest in cloud formations, not so much celestial bodies, but depends on what they are wearing.

I don't have a telescope, but I like watching the sky at night - it's just so vast and beautiful round these here parts. Reminds me how insignificant I am. 8-)

I have always wanted to scan the sky at night and I have the same thoughts as LAF in that the kit would need to be all dancing. The other problem is that I am usually asleep when the sky is dark these days.

I have a small one. I don’t use it as it is decorative.
