@ Naylor's Ark, a long time ago, I once made a ladies' bag. A somewhat boxy design, thin metal strips as a frame with narrow leather straps woven around them. It struck a chord with the young lady in question.

Picture probably somewhere in a shoebox. Right now, this is my preferred tool bag containing all basic measuring equipment for an electrician.

@ Naylor's Ark, picture not in a shoebox, somewhere on a once brand new desktop pc, with a Core2Duo processor and over the years upgraded to Windows 10. I thought, many moons ago, only IBM mainframe computers around, let's try to make a special birthday present for this beautiful young lady. My first and only step in the art of bag making.

That's actually quite good. A little leather cream and its good to go. Much more likely to win a new lady's heart than a box of triodes.
