I know there’s a lot going on at the moment but man is returning to the moon for the first time in over 50 years. Surely I am not the only one pleased by this

I'd be delighted if I knew there was a particular passenger on board with a one way ticket.

What I’ve seen on the news looked terrific but I thought of the vast sums that could have done so much good in the world.

Aparently cost of the Artimis II launch $4bn, trumps war so far $40bn, and that is just to america, I could quite believe it could be many times that if you include what it has cost the rest of the world so far.

I find these space events terrifying and the launch hasn't been without difficulty.
There were problems with the loo on board and

I well remember the excitement of the first moon landing (there was no claim then that it was a spoof), but I have often wondered how much all the space exploration/junk has affected the climate, although it seems to be a non-subject. Why?

But they're not landing on the moon, just going around and back. Seems no different to the other space trips.
I'll be more interested when they land on another planet.

We sat up and watched it live on Sky as we thought may not see another blast off into space.

They are going further from the earth than any other human has. They are planning a landing in 2028 I believe. This is the preliminary for that and eventually Mars

Crewed by Trump, Netinyahoo, and Putin hopefully. We could change the locks before they return.
