When I came out of hospital after breaking my leg, I was given a nursing ordonnance for 12 months, a nurse to come for 365 days! I knew the nurses well and we agreed that they should come 3 times/week to give me a shower and any extra help I might need. That was extended by the nurse himself for another year. I also have a wrist alarm (I'm inclined to fall flat on my face) and a boîte à clés in case any young handsome pompiers need to get in to rescue me. The wrist alarm costs me €25/month, but half the cost comes back as a crédit d'impôt.
Well worth the reassurance.

Which company is your wrist alarm with? Do the impots deduct monthly, so say the cost is 35 € per month, you actually only pay 17,50 per month? That is how my cleaning company works.

The leg was almost 18 months ago - the other leg was affected by a mini stroke, so nothing works proerly! The alarm (as far as I know) will be entered on the 2025 déclaration and half will be subject to a crédit d'impôts and deducted from what we would normally pay in income tax.
