That was my exact thought when I wrote the OP - just a bit quicker than I expected.

Re: Covid in UK
And next week we have half term ( some are this week) at least the little viral ridden infection spreaders have been reasonably confined up to now. Next weeks last fling before winter may see the figures rise even further

That's a little harsh considering we were all children once - how would we have all coped with something like this I wonder?! It wasn't children who spread the virus world-wide in the first place ......

Morocco bans UK flights due to Covid cases rising. I wouldn't be surprised if others followed suit .....

I don't think Pat meant anything nasty.
I often used to refer to my kids as little germ factories when they were little.

I'm not knocking kids (hate that expression) but its well known they have a number of infections without symptoms.
Perhaps it was on the other forum but I've posted that my lovely oh stayed in the uk for six years till her children went to uni before she joined me.
Each time I went back like every three months I caught a bad cold or something, why? well three different schools three different sets of a virus. They all had immunity which I didn't.

Saw it on bbc news, switched over just as he said, cases could rise to 100,000 a day but they are not bringing in more controls.
