According to TF1 news's medical expert, the Covid strain coming from China is an Omicron variant and that in the US is a more contagious Omicron variant but the vaccinations we have received in Europe should protect us.

I have noticed a lot more people wearing masks again around here.

There’s a lot of nasty viruses doing the rounds at the moment I am suffering,and so are a lot of my family who I spent Christmas with,as said two years of wearing masks have had a knock on effect

So it wasn’t a nasty virus after all ,after nearly three years of avoiding it despite being on the front line as it were I’ve got the ‘rona

I was sorry to read that. Get well soon, but don’t rush back to work if possible - even a mild dose can leave you very weak and rushing back to normality can leave you totally exhausted.
