Enjoy your books Pathca. Wishing you a speedy recovery and lots of rest. Don’t rush back to work, the hospital can wait until you’re fully recovered. 🤗

So it wasn’t a nasty virus after all ,after nearly three years of avoiding it despite being on the front line as it were I’ve got the ‘rona
Could that mean that many of those who say "flu is rampant - everyone is ill" could also be undetected 'rona? As others have said - get well soon, but no rushing!

I am sure it is - the XBB.1.5 that I mentioned previously is highly infectious with cold and flu symptoms.

see: https://www.bbc.com/news/health-64164306

I still cannot smell 9 months after my last infection.

It depends if people are testing or not, In ED they are testing if symptomatic so know if it’s flu A/B or the ‘ Rona .People I’ve seen are saying not corona so I would imagine are home testing,it’s differentiating between other viruses that’s probably the issue

@Pathca as others have said, ignore work - you're entitled to take enough time to recover.

In that case, tomorrow, when I'm helping someone unload some stuff they've bringing over for a mutual client (who is the person who said "everyone here is ill") I shall be sure to wear a mask!

Look after yourselves folks. :(

I’ll be honest, I am going out (with a mask on) because I was going out without a mask for three days before I tested but it was a bank holiday weekend and I struggled to find test kits
