My friend had very severe Long Covid, far more ill than the virus itself made her, indeed she was concerned that the Long Covid might finish her off ,She had her first vaccine ,nothing ,had her second, woke up the next morning with a mouth full of ulcers she was distraught as by now it was practically every system in her body affected. She got up ,started moving around ,realised she felt different and began a dramatic recovery, she herself says it was like a miracle

Well, I had the Moderna at 8 am - they said Pfizer is now bivalent since last week - but recommended changing the manufacturer for extra protection.

Interestingly, I loaded the vaccination into both the Swiss and French apps - the French one says it is only valid after one week. Also, the Swiss app says the certificate is valid for two years.

Well, 24 hours later apart from a mildly sore arm, there are no major symptoms. The aftermath of last week on a drip is more painful.

So it is now 7/7 in my theory that previous exposure to omicron leads to a reduced reaction to the bivalent vaccine - unless my immunoglobulin treatment is messing with me.

We've just had our 4th jabs and flu jabs at the same time, one in each arm, done by one of the doctors in our usual cabinet. Neither of us felt a thing and we're going to take it easy this afternoon.

Friends have just had their 5th covid vaccination.

I believe over 60s are eligible.

I have my 5 th scheduled for 15th; over 60s and those who are pregnant, immunocompromised ( is that the English word?) and under 60s at risk are eligible. If over 80 or more 3 months after last jab and 6 months after for others.
