On a somewhat gloomy day 35 years ago in Budapest, there was a little bit of sunshine: a yellow Trabant.

A few pictures from Le Circuit des Remparts last Sunday. Mixed weather, rain in the morning and then sun.
Fewer cars on display in the town as it seems work in progress had stopped that. Spoke to a café owner who was not happy with the decision.
Lunched as usual at Chez Paul.

A Fairthorpe, not often seen with racing history in the USA and a Coventry Climax engine.

An iconic NY fire truck, a special longhorn edition. That was in 1997, everything almost the same as it ever was. On September 11, 2001, 343 brave members of the FDNY lost their lives.

With all these really old vehicles is it difficult to get tyres? So many shapes and sizes - who makes them these days?

Not really a problem. Sometimes the problem is the price.
Michelin have a Classic section with appropriate pricing.
Blockley Tyres.
Dunlop Racing.
My Rosengart runs on older style rear motorcycle tyres.

Classic car spotting:

On the autoroute only three: an old Rolls Royce (UK license plate), a VW camper (German) and a Citroen DS (Dutch). Driver's seat, no camera, no pictures.

Shopping and spotting, a German 2CV returned to its country of birth. Classic seat.....
