Model TA-F440E. "Vintage" (whatever that means) in black. 80 watts per channel, in good working order. Plenty of grunt for those who like their music loud. A few scratches externally but nothing too bad. 100€
Makes a nice combo with a pair of "Solid" bookshelf speakers (engineered by Bowers and Wilkins and made in Japan). 100€
Collection from Plougonver 22810

Many decades ago I was subliminally influenced to distrust foreigners, secondhand car salesmen, and estate agents. That distrust has faded. The new kid on the block is Technology, and those who use it to exploit us.

Have you tried Catawiki, online auction they deal in a lot of retro Hi Fi, I bought a technics system, amp, tuner, cassette deck,5 cd drawer, and a couple of quality speakers, total with shipping about 250€, don't tell the missus she thinks it was loads cheaper.

I have seen the name Catawiki but never had a look. Thanks for the tip. I'll check it out. I had a go at joining Fartbook today to get onto the "marketplace". Holy cow what a cafuffle! They want your inside leg measurement and the number of third parties you have to agree to let them share with numbers several dozen. Eventually I got registered with a temporary email address and bogus birth date but within 15 minutes they shut me down. To get reinstated I had to provide a clear full face photograph. I uploaded a nice one of a chimpanzee and then logged out. Game over for me and Fartbook.
I may well have both items sold. Friend in UK is planning to visit in December, subject to workload, so I'm holding them until then. He (sensibly) wants a demo in his place fed by his turntable, etc. Also his lady has the final veto on the speakers. She's an interior designer.
