Yes it did Char, just before midday, the day promised. But they really blotted their copy book yesterday by sending me a text to say it would be a day early, that day. So I wasted the whole day waiting in when I could have been doing so much more. No dog walks and no swimming. Even some work I needed to do involving power tools had to be set aside in case I didn't hear the phone or gate bell. Finally the man did ring when not far away and I went out to look for him but could barely understand his rapid talk. Fortunately the bread lady was outside delivering next door so she took the phone and directed him in.
