Elles sont mortes
Apart from looking a bit scruffy (as expected) they are fine. They received no bullying from our other two and yesterday I allowed them out to free range. Normally bringing new birds into a group will be mayhem for a few days until the pecking order is established. They weren't too difficult to coax back into the enclosure so I think they have accepted it as their new home. We have had three quite small eggs from them so far with quite thin shells so I think it will take a while before their health improves enough to get into proper production. Our old pair are past laying now and will be allowed their comfortable retirement.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.
