Are you guys counting the batteries in your watches? And the one in your desktop?
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

OH had a box of watches, and wanted to get some going, so opened them up all sorts of numbers and makes, luckily it condensed down to about 4 sizes when I fanally found a good cross reference chart. Some were just as dead as a dodo, so they got binned the rest that were working she kept, and where are they now, back in the bloody box where she found them.

Desktops & more: inside a not very young HP/Compaq laptop also the standard CR 2032 coin battery: inside, keyboard partially removed and our little friend in more detail.

What about rechargeable batteries, do you remember, NiCd AA size for Walkman or Discman? Or the next generation NiMH? Problem wirth those nickel-cadmium batteries: memory effect. Discharge them several times to about 50% of their capacity and afterwards they will regard this as a hard bottom line.
Nickel-metal hydride batteries: use them daily or weekly. Don''t discharge them to the bottom, only to about 25%. If kept too long in a drawer they will auto discharge themselves, almost impossible to revive.

Bugger. You've reminded me of another 6. Count is now 76. No, 77. There's a big one in my UPS.
