First Venezuela? You forget Saddam Hussein and Colonel Gadafi. There are countless others in south and central america that the Amerikaans have removed by force, openly or by proxy.

yes.
Everything in the shops gets delivered. So if fuel prices rise, so do the costs of delivery.
Many things sold in the shops has a plastic packaging. Plastics are made from oil. So if oil goes up so does the price of that packaging.
If things are wrapped in paper or card instead of or as well as plastic, card needs energy to be produced. So if oil goes up in price so does the costs of paper and card.

And that is just what we buy in the shops and supermarkets.

Regardless of how tanker traffic in the Straits of Hormuz is affected, the way the world economy works will cause price rises for every commodity imaginable elsewhere around the world. Think about it. When Russia invaded Ukraine it took less than a year for prices to be noticeably rising. Look at prices today compared with before the invasion. Not only items that were coming from Ukraine but absolutely everything. The rich get richer as a result of war. The banks are quick to take advantage. Profit is profit, my son. They even loaned to Hitler!

The thing of Kennedy being health minister is bizarre. As someone said if I am going to take advice off an ex heroin user I would rather it be Keith Richards
