US President Donald Trump has just posted on Truth Social, warning: "A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again".
He goes on:
"I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS?
"We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!"

WTF ??? What regime change ? A change of leader, yes, but it's the same controlling regime.
And what does he mean by a whole civilisation ?? If he targets Iran's water supplies around Tehran, a huge proportion of the population will die of thirst. Water is one of Iran's biggest weak points.
I bet he's itching to press that red button, let's hope someone stops him.

"Taco Tuesday" strikes again. Hmmm - let's see how this goes. Israel doesn't recognise ceasefires, as it continues to follow it's own agenda with Lebanon (and what's left of Gaza).

Highlight for me today was seeing the astronauts not replying to tRump when he spoke to them - nearly a minute of dead time, as they played "the microphone is lava" - a much needed distraction!

So the peace "negociations" failed because the Iranians wouldn't accept the US terms. There's an oxymoron somewhere .... isn't negotiating a way of finding some sort of middle ground that's acceptable to both sides ? Not according to the US it would seem.
I wonder where that leaves JDV - he will probably be blamed despite direct communication with DJT during the "negociations" .....
If it weren't for the US interests/investments in the Middle east and Hormuz, the US would probably just walk away and blame everyone else for the mess.

I'm sure it didn't help that while the talks were about to start, the orange turd was still goading the Iranians on his stupid "Truth Social" site (that's an oxymoron in itself!).

J D "Just killed Da Pope" Vance is a nasty piece of work too - following the money despite being anti-Trump not too long ago. No conscience, no scruples, just lies to further their wealth - sod the rest of us and the planet in general.
