Read your propaganda piece in full.
My first experience of Chinese technology was Southern Africa with a flood of transistor radios, just what the indigenous people needed.
The second experience in Central Africa was the Uhuru Railway from Kapiri Mposhi through the Zaïre pedicule to Tanzania.
As for the Serbian his problem was with a mining company called Rio Tinto most definitely VERY NOT Chinese but close to Australian mining and government interests.
I am typing this epistle on a Xiaomi smartphone accused by the Lithuanians as being a device of spying and censoring. This week the germans refuted this claim as being completely unfounded.
Don't worry yourself your Huawei may be a bit outdated but it is not relaying an account of your Internet activities to China every night.

Due seriousness with three senior judges sitting, including the Chief Justice. Three venues Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.
The proposition by the Interior Minister as to Djokovic being an active Anti-vaxxer appears to me to be weak due to stale circumstantial evidence dating from the year 2020.
Nothing at all overtly recent.

I think that he has shown scant regard for all covid regulations and as such is a danger wherever he goes.

He has the choice to not be vaccinated, so that is not my beef although I would much prefer that he did get the jab.

No my case is this. He had a PCR test (note PCR and not LFT) which suggests that he may have suspected that he was infected.
He then goes out before he gets the results and awards children with various bits and bobs. This seems silly if you even partly suspect that you might be positive. Red Flag 1.
Then after having a confirmed C19 test he goes ahead with an interview with L'Equipe. Red Flag 2.
He then travels to Spain, does not declare the recent infection which I think would have resulted in him not being able to enter the country. Red Flag 3.
He then fails to report this trip on his immigration papers to Australia. Red Flag 4
He blames his team for a technical mishap, despite him being responsible for the declaration - no matter who actually filled it in: he signed it. Red Flag 5.

Of course it is possible he never had Covid at all and the test he provided to Tennis Australia was a fake. Then of course every one of his actions prior to entry to Australia make sense - except of course that he would have to undergo 14 days quarantine on arrival.

I welcome alternative scenarios.

I realise that there are fans out there who would dearly love to see him play and win the magic tournament. That does not excuse reckless behaviour.

Seems a pretty good summary - I would just add that the der Spiegel investigations suggest that Serbian authorities might be complicit in fabricating results to help their favourite son.

He's lost his case - so I guess he will be on a plane soon.

Novak Djokovic is set to be deported from Australia, after losing his appeal against his visa cancellation.

The judges have unanimously dismissed his appeal. They say they will give their reason shortly.

Well done Australia - at least their laws apply universally. Something the UK needs to learn.

Good. Was just about to agree with all exile said - so they must have been of the same opinion. One down, two to go!

+1 @exile
He's a public figure and whether he likes it or not, he should act responsibly. He's shown himself to be reckless, dishonest and manipulative. He may well be a fine tennis player, but he needs to know that he's subject to the same rules as everyone else.
Bravo Australia
