The chap with the card was supposedly a magician so what was written is probably irrelevant.

This whole thing has a remarkable likeness to a movie script.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

A Paramount movie script - and this lot had a right old snigger about it straight after ......Well, Leavitt did say "there will be shots fired"!

The King and Queen have arrived in the US. On meeting Trump, the King outmanoeuvred Trump and his agressive handshake. It was unbelievably obvious Trump was trying to pull the King towards him but fortunately it didn't work.

We've just watched the King's speech to Congress live on the BBC website. It was brilliant, well-researched (hardly surprising) and covered many subjects. It contained lots of flattery and how close we are as nations, but also sending various political messages and little pokes at Trump.

Trump's speech which we watched this afternoon, was just a ramble by comparison. And you could tell when he went off script because he'd talk about himself. It was wince-making when he went on and on about his mother and how she had had a crush on the King .....

Did anyone else watch/listen to the speeches ?

Just watched (and then read all of) some of Charles's speech. I am no royalist but his speech was amazing: This is one of the parts that really impressed me:

" The US Supreme Court Historical Society has calculated that Magna Carta is cited in at least 160 Supreme Court cases since 1789, not least as the foundation of the principle that executive power is subject to checks and balances."

Congress en masse rose up and applauded.

@demi Yes, that was brilliant. The Speaker seemed to love the speech but, unsurprisingly, Vance wasn't always as enthusiastic.
