Lots of minor damage here - the worst being it has ripped part of the bituminised felt from the shed roof. I was going to replace it next summer but I think an earlier action will be required.

It also managed to tip a 35kg olive tree in a ceramic pot on its side. One sheet of plastic glazing dislodged from the greenhouse plus a whole host of things that I thought were nailed down now spread across the garden.

Gusts, rain, thunder and lightning here ! Just had a flash bang right overhead which scared the heck out of the dogs - Fifi has never heard thunder before, so naturally got lots of cuddles !!
This is the forecast for today - we've no intention of going anywhere, needless to say ! Force 11 gusts will be quite something ...

Bad up in Lancashire and we are getting off quite lightly ! had gusts of 90 MPH in North Wales and the Everton Liverpool Derby has been postponed
