It was argued by Joshua Rozenberg that as a trade envoy his role was to further trade with the rest of the world, therefore by passing information about potential investments to a billionaire investor is hardly tantamount to a hanging event. Was he just attempting, be it rather misguided, to drum up business with Epstein and his financial empire.
