Weird, yes when I quote my post (with the Amazon link), I can see the link. Otherwise, it isn't visible.

Thanks. I found it. The reviews are very mixed as many people said the taupes returned within 48 hours and just shoveled out new runs. At this point, I think I will pass on the chemical option.exile wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 2:44 pm Cannot access the links @Lori but no it is not Carbonate de Calcium - calcium carbonate aka chalk or limestone.
You need to search on Carbure de Calcium. I know the Amazon link also decides that you really meant Carbonate or even vitamin supplements as first choices but if you scroll down you will find carbure.

Your choice of course @Lori but I note that at least one of the negative reviews has not followed the process as I suggested and had added water once the material is underground. This will certainly produce the gas but very quickly and then it is gone. We are looking for a long term slow release, not a way to poison any moles in the vicinity. AS for the other negative reviews, did they treat every molehill?
As I wrote - worked for me, although we have very few and I only react if they come into the veg garden. The rest they can play with to their heart's content.
