Home alone
well, not exactly alone. I've got Bob the mutt plus Mme chatte & two nags to keep me company but the conversation is never the same.
Mrs LAF left for the UK this morning where she'll be spending some time with kids, grandkids & her BFF. I've mown the lawn & cut the field grass which is good as the weather forecast is rain & more rain so not looking good for outdoor activities. Every thing we could think of has been done to make things easier for me on me lonesome so now all there is to do is to work out how me & Bob are going to spend the next eight days.
Hmmmmmm!

You mean that mrs did not make a list of jobs to get done around the house? Just left you to get on with things? Doesn't sound right, what did you forget?

Forgot where he left the list.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

@L Austin France Well when OH used to be away for a couple of days I always cooked food that I loved such as double fried egg & chips with two slices of thick white bread spread with salted butter - oooh those were the days. Maybe get your or OHs pinny on and knock yourself up something delicious it would certainly pass the time quickly and not forgetting the radio - get that on and have a jig around the kitchen whilst cooking - and no I'm not joking as that's what I do when OH is out doing the garden for a couple of hours
With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way into darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine.........The Corpse Bride

I have ridden but wouldn't go off on me lonesome in case something happened.
Too risky leaving animals at home if I'm in hospital (or a box).
