Who does it?

Who has a competition with their other half?

Today we tied on 3 - and generally we are about even - so I am happy not to be too senile just yet.

We don’t exactly compete, although we tell one another our scores. I aim to do both fairly early in the morning, sometimes do Le Mot on the dot of 23h if I know I won’t be able to get to sleep for a while, whereas my husband does them both at bedtime.

Yes, it’s pleasing to be able to complete them and Sudoku, especially if I’ve lost keys/glasses etc several times that day!

In my view sharing scores is not about competing but about praising good scores and commiserating with poor scores or failure. A support system more than a competition.

We do wordle, quordle, sedecordle and sedecorder first thing over a brew.

I guess I am with Sue, too.

We share screenshots and compare strategies - she will fire off two completely unrelated words and get 10 letters out there.

I will always carry on with it once I know a letter is present.

She is an English graduate and teacher - I am more mathematical in my approach.
