I opened up the forum to see the disappearing end of a moving banner across the screen and I thought 'oh no' adverts
Until I read that I wasn't to forget to post my predictions for the English Premier League in the football section .. that would be the biggest joke out as I know absolutely zero, zilch, nada about football .. except that some players, who look about 18, earn zillions a week kicking a ball about on a grass pitch.

Not knocking this idea at all .. not one teensy bit, as I think this is a great idea for those interested in footie on the forum.
It was just the surprise of the rolling banner. I burst out laughing which has got to be good for morale

There will never ever be any adverts on this forum - I don't agree with using people to sell advertising space, I find that abhorrent.


But I do think the scrolling banner is a bit OTT I thought it would be smaller and that you would be able to get rid of it once you'd read it, like the announcements that I put at the top of the forum sometimes. I'm still playing with it at the moment, to see if I can make it smaller and to make it so that you can remove it.
