How to prevent new terror attacks in Europe

#1 Post by mysty »

Today the Americans blew up a car full of suicide bombers in Afghanistan.
They need to stop the terrorists but blowing them up has not stopped them in the past.
Do I have the answer? no.
It"s been fairly quiet in Europe terror wise, not sure it will stay that way.

I'm perfectly happy with that as a solution since the Americans are unlikely to stop meddling with other countries making enemies around the world. Specially if you can bag a carful at a stroke instead of waiting for them to set themselves off individually taking innocent bystanders with them.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

Buy shares in Boeing, Raytheon, General Dynamics etc - the MIC will win any war - even one the US loses.

Even without a war Raytheon will be a good bet. As an offshoot from their core radar experience they have developed some fearsome "crowd control" devices that can project a powerful and painful energy pulse causing intense pain and disorientation. Several years ago when I read about this the only downside was that the power supply had to be vehicle mounted because it was so large. I expect by now it will be far smaller and by the time the general public wakes up, takes to the streets, and starts asking critical questions of governments the whole device will be incorporated into a mobile phone.

That's fine if you want to make money sir but I think if I understood the OPs opening post he or she asked if all this new killing spree will just encourage more attacks in Europe and America by pro terror groups.
