No. They are probably very good engineers.

Unfortunately not good enough to avoid killing a customer now and again.

I am an engineer, and I can see perfectly well that the load (two people) on the cables could be moved to one side, by the wind or sudden movement of the individuals, resulting in collision with a fixed object, possibly a tree.
