Cracked from the top to the bottom now.
Hit by a stone or something else on the autoroute a few days ago. Instant crack, only every had the odd chip.
Within a couple of days it went top to bottom.
Tried carglass but they said they don't do one for that car, main dealer goes in tomorrow.
Three hours to fit a windscreen, that does not sound quick.

That may be because it is glued in and the glue takes 3 hours to dry.

I had to have a new windscreen fitted to my van last week because of a crack. It appeared for no apparent reason while I was parked on a friends driveway.
I claimed it through my insurance as there was no loss of no claims for glass repairs. I had to pay £115 excess but still much cheaper than paying the full price especially as it's a heated windscreen. They organised it with Autoglass who fittted it at my house. The chap said he thought he could see a sign of a chip that had happened some time previously. It took him about an hour and a half but he said don't drive it for 2 hours to let the adhesive dry.

3 hours - when ours went in it took 4 days! A 2013 CX5 with camera behind the interior mirror. Would have cost a fortune but luckily the insurance paid every penny. We got a loan car for the 4 days as well.

We've got windscreen cover on our insurance, which was a good job when our windscreen went, as it would have cost over a thousand euros to replace.

I think it took a couple of hours I can't remember exactly, we dropped it off and went shopping and picked it up after we had finished.

I have a 125 excess, I did see a second hand screen for sale at 270 in Germany, no idea on the new cost. I do have things on the screen by the mirror but no idea what they do.

I needed a new screen on my old Transit. OK because it was covered on the insurance. The shocker was when I signed off the job. The facture was stinging the insurance company for €450! I got onto the internet to find I could have had a self-employed chap in UK come out to do it for £120.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.
