21 years ago today we arrived in France to begin our new life.
No internet in those days with forums to help so everything was accomplished with an English/French dico, schoolboy French & a lot of luck.
Somehow we muddled through the bureaucracy whilst making a lot of mistakes but never regretted it & still here enjoying life. :D

Congrats L Austin France,
as I stated yesterday we have been here for 37 years and have never regretted it, got married here 28 years ago became French citizens after brexshit.

Arrived here on 9/11. Thought it might have been a bad omen at the time but it certainly wasn't. Never looked back once or regretted the move.
Humanity landed on the moon over fifty years ago but it seems too much to ask for a reliable telephone/internet service in rural France.
