Only a finishing touch: digging out trailing geraniums, fill with sand and gravel and then two gravel tiles. To have herbs only a few steps away from out kitchen door. This morning i got the impression that twenty years ago this would have been a 30 minutes job, for some or other reason it took me much longer,,,,,,

Yes, RA, everything takes longer and I need more breaks when I’m busy in the garden or hoovering the house.

Having herbs so handy is great - I take a couple of steps from our back door to collect herbs most days and what a pleasure it is. I also have parsley on the kitchen windowsill and pick some to nibble on and off all day - delivious and very good for us.
