Put your heating on yet?

#1 Post by L Austin France »

Still hanging on here without heating but getting tempted this evening.
10 deg outside & 18 in so I keep telling myself not to be a wuz & put yer jumper on.
Be interesting to see if we can make it 'till the end of this month before lighting a woodie or switching on the kitchen PAC but somehow I don't think we will.

Yep - heating is on here, I don't know what the temperature is without but it's too cold even with a big thick winter woolly on.

The building heating is on here.

My radiators are all set to off and my windows are wide open.

Mind you, I do now wear a jumper outside over my T-shirt.

Not yet - we have oil CH here, so we're trying to hold out as long as possible. We've lit the wood burner a couple of times for a burst of heat in the evening, otherwise we just put on extra layers.
We'll probably give in at the end of the month ...

With a husband just diagnosed with a second cancer in his oesophagus I'm afraid I need to keep him warm as he rapidly loses weight.

There are no prizes for delaying putting the heating on, and if someone needs to be kept warm, then it's important to do so.
Hope things improve for you, Mangetout.

Can't do prayers, I'm sorry. But OH and I send you both our love and positive thoughts for a happy outcome.
Keep your OH warm and comfortable as possible.
