It doesn't look like our local Maison Medicale has signed up for it yet.L Austin France wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 1:42 pm
Doctolib is an internet thing so surely there is no 'here'.

Unfortunately there such a thing as here. We are registered with Doctolib and used it for our vaccination but we had to travel 50km to get it done because none of the local vaccination centres are registered with Doctolib. The alternative required a Francophone mobile number and since we have no signal, we have no mobile phone. So I think it is fair to say that it is not available here.L Austin France wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 1:42 pmDoctolib is an internet thing so surely there is no 'here'.Bayleaf wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 11:54 am Managed to pop into our local Maison Medicale this morning, on our way to the dechetterie. Thankfully no-one else there I was looking like a right Dbnshire Farmer's Wife - wellies and thick coat, all that was missing was the binder twine around the waist!![]()
The lovely Receptionist made a RDV for my Moderna Booster with Doc for mid December. She was training a young'un, and was even able to call up my name without my asking. I'm not sure if that's a good thing, or bad that she knows my name!![]()
We don't have Doctolib here.

I'm simply saying that if anyone is posting on this forum they must have an internet connection & as Doctolib is online it must be available 'here'.exile wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 3:21 pmUnfortunately there such a thing as here. If you think " it is fair to say that" then you must be confusing things. You've posted that you're registered & have used Doctolib which shows it's obviously available, ie 'here'. It's hardly Doctolibs fault that " none of the local vaccination centres are registered with that system".
I had to travel over 50 km to get my first two vaccinations in Feb/May as there were no local centres at the beginning of the roll out. The RDV's were arranged on line with no mobile phones used if that is what you are referring to as "The alternative".

Apparently Doctolib took 1,200,000 RDVs since the announcement !! No wonder it was so difficult to get on to it yesterday
At our centre, there is a phone number for people who really don't want to struggle with internet, but I understand there's always a queue ...

I think I'll be waiting until the frenzy is over. It was very difficult getting a RDV for the first two and this doesn't look like being any different.

On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

Don't wait too long:
